Tungsten steel three-hole blades / LUTZ Three-Hole Blade (Germany) /Ceramic Blades

Description

Products :The three-hole tungsten steel blade is an industrial-grade cutting tool specifically designed for heavy-duty crushers and shredders. It features a three-hole positioning design (with standard hole spacings of 22.5 millimeters or 26 millimeters), and these three precise holes are mainly used for the quick installation, precise fixation, and heat dissipation of the blade on the equipment. This design makes it particularly suitable for high-speed continuous cutting operations, ensuring stability and accuracy during the cutting process and enabling high-precision installation and quick replacement. Its core part is made of hard alloy (tungsten carbide), featuring extremely high hardness and impact resistance.

The three-hole blade is usually rectangular in shape and belongs to small cutting tools. In addition, there are some well-known brands and special types of three-hole blades: such as LUTZ three-hole blades, tungsten steel three-hole blades, ceramic three-hole blades, etc.

Product Name: Tungsten steel three-hole blades / LUTZ Three-Hole Blade (Germany) /Ceramic Blades

Material: 1. Ceramic series, tungsten steel series, LUTZ series (Germany), carbon steel series

  1. Alloy tool steels: such as 9CrSi, Cr12MoV; High-speed steel (HSS): such as W6Mo5Cr4V2; ; Hard alloys (tungsten steel): such as YG8, YT series (for example YT5): tungsten carbides + titanium cobalt alloy, resistant to high-temperature oxidation; ceramics: such as zirconia ceramics.

Size: The standard hole spacing is 22.5 millimeters or 26 millimeters, and non-standard customization is accepted.

Type:High-temperature quenching makes the cutting edge sharp. Powder metallurgy pressing, vacuum sintering, and low-temperature treatment

Features:

Ultra-high hardness and wear resistance: The hardness can reach HV 1500 – 2000, capable of processing quenched steel with hardness of HRC 60 or above. The hardness of the tungsten carbide matrix reaches HRA 90 – 93, and its service life is 5 – 8 times that of high-speed steel blades. It is particularly suitable for materials containing impurities.

High-temperature stability: The surface is coated with TiAIN or AICrN, which can withstand a temperature of 800℃, suitable for continuous cutting of titanium alloys and nickel-based high-temperature alloys.

Low friction coefficient: The self-lubricating property can reduce cutting heat, and the surface roughness can reach Ra 0.2μm.

Impact toughness: The cobalt bonding phase optimizes toughness and can resist the impact of metal chips, avoiding cracking (bending strength 22000 MPa).

Chemical corrosion resistance: It can resist erosion by acids, alkalis and molten metals, suitable for processing components of chemical equipment.

Double-edge design (for some models): Some three-hole blades feature a double-edge design, which can be flipped for use, thereby increasing the utilization rate of the blades and further reducing the usage cost.

Application Scenario: The application of three-hole blades is very extensive, covering almost all industries that require processing of sheet materials. The main ones include:

  • Plastic films: Such as BOPP, CPP, PET, PVC, as well as common pearl films, cast films, diffusion films, optical films, water-soluble films, embroidery films and cotton yarn, and various other plastic films and packaging materials for cutting.
  • Tape: Used for the cutting of various tapes to ensure that the tape remains flat and continuous during the cutting process.
  • Metal foil materials: Cutting of precise metal materials such as gold, silver, copper, and aluminum foil.
  • Paper and paper products: Used for paper cutting, printing sheet trimming, etc., with smooth cuts without frayed edges.
  • Non-woven fabric and textile materials: Used for cutting non-woven fabric, fabric, synthetic fibers, glass fibers, etc.
  • Other fields: It is also commonly used in the cutting processes of food packaging, electronic products (such as lithium battery separators), or in difficult-to-machine materials in fields such as aerospace, energy equipment, automotive manufacturing, medical machinery, and precision molds.

Introduction To Other Blade Types:

LUTZ three-hole blade: A German brand, offering various high-quality coatings (such as TiN, TiAlN, DLC), with sharp blade edges, excellent cutting performance, long service life, and can enhance the efficiency of equipment usage. Suitable for precise cutting of films (such as BOPP, PET), tapes, metal foils, synthetic fibers, medical devices, etc.

Ceramic three-hole blade: Made of ceramic materials such as zirconia, it features high hardness, excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, anti-magnetism, and no static electricity. It has an extremely long service life, but is highly brittle and requires careful use. Suitable for the cutting of copper and aluminum foils, high-end films, glass fibers, medical devices, electronic materials, etc., which have extremely high requirements for cleanliness and precision.

Selection criteria:

  • Select based on material properties: For normal paper and film cutting, cost-effective alloy tool steel can be chosen; for high-strength or materials with abrasive properties (such as glass fiber, metal foil) that need to be cut, high-speed steel or carbide blades can be considered; for environments with high hygiene, anti-magnetic, and anti-static requirements (such as medical and electronic industries), ceramic blades can be considered.
  • Consider coatings: For materials that are prone to sticking to the blade (such as tapes, oily films), choosing blades with anti-stick coatings like Teflon (PTFE) or DLC can help reduce downtime for cleaning.
  • Confirm specifications: Based on the model of the cutting machine and the cutting requirements, confirm whether the length, width, thickness, hole diameter, etc. of the required blades match the specifications. Common specifications include 43 * 22 * 0.3mm (width x height x thickness).
